A miniature, Wedgwood lustre, three handled loving cup or tyg. This has the printed, Wedgwood, Portland vase mark in gilt which show the vase above “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is decorated in a lustrous glaze and gilding, with four different groups of fruits against a blue ground on the exterior and an orange ground on the interior. This was one of the lustre designs which was known as “the ordinary lustres” and, along with the dragon and fish designs was designed by Daisy Meikig Jones who also designed the Fairyland lustres. It is a charming little piece and it is in excellent condition.
