A very unusual, Wedgwood majolica bowl. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letters “WGH” which is the date code for the year 1879. The bowl is moulded with a cauliflower design and the cauliflower leaves are coloured in green and yellow majolica glazes. For majolica the colours are quite subtle and the overall effect is pleasing. It is in excellent condition.
