A most unusual pair of Wedgwood bone china vases. Both vases have the Portland vase mark, printed in brown, to the base. This has an image of the Portland vase above the words 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' and it can be seen in one of the images. They date from c.1900. The vases are mostly covered in an attractive, mottled blue glaze. There are ram's head handles to the sides of the vases and acorn shaped finials to the lids. These are all heightened with gilding. This type of design is quite uncommon for Wedgwood and both vases and covers are in excellent condition.
