A stunning, early 19th century, Wedgwood creamware wine cooler or ice pail. This is quite lightly potted and has an attractive, enamelled border of leaves and berries. The finely moulded handles to the sides are highlighted with brown enamel and the overall effect is very stylish. This would grace any dinner table. It has an impressed “WEDGWOOD” mark to the base and it dates from c.1820.

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or restoration. Very minimal flaking to the brown enamel decoration. This can be seen in the images. Slight speckling to the glaze on one side.
