A delightful, Wedgwood, late creamware, cup, saucer and plate decorated with flowers, butterflies and insects. Each piece is marked ‘WEDGWOOD” and they are also impressed with a three letter date code but the date codes vary. The plate in impressed ‘DCV’ for 1867, the cup and saucer are impressed ‘QSZ’ for 1871. It is possible that the cups and saucers were purchased at a later date to complete the set. The decoration is an outlined, brown transfer print which is then hand coloured in polychrome enamels. It is quite charming and all three piece are in excellent condition.
