A wooden pie mould for making a hand raised meat pie. This type of mould is placed in the centre of a circle of pastry. The pastry is raised up around the mould, the mould is removed and the pastry case is then filled. A lid is placed on top of the meat and the pastry edges are crimped together.

Condition:There is wear to the wood around the base and also around the shoulder.
