A nineteenth century, sycamore butter print carved with acorns and oak leaves. This is well carved, with good depth and detail. The print and handle are carved in two separate pieces and they have a carved screw thread to put them together. There is a large split in the handle but otherwise it is in good condition and the wood has a rich patina.
English. Date c.1860.
Dimensions: Diameter 11.4cm. Length of print and handle 8.6cm.
