A late Victorian, English copper jelly mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ’76A’. To the opposite end is a workmans’ mark in the shape of a radiating sun. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and dates from c.1890. It is in good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is badly worn.
