A late 19th century/early 20th century, wooden shortbread mould. This is turned and carved from beechwood and it dates from c.1900 . There is scratching to the reverse of the mould and there are also a few woodworm holes to the face. These have been treated and filled and the worm is no longer active. Otherwise the piece is in good condition and it could still be used.
