A Victorian copper mould of geometric design. This mould is marked with a number '24' which is possibly the pattern number. It is French and it dates from c.1880. The mould has a central pipe and this is so that, if you are using it for baking, the cake or pudding cooks from the centre as well as the outside. This stops the centre from being stodgy. The design has two tiers of wrythen fluting above a plain lower section. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, usable condition.
