Strawberry Butter Print

A 19th century, beechwood butter print carved with strawberries. This piece is well carved with two strawberries to either side of a large strawberry leaf. The carving is quite deep and it is well detailed. The wood has a rich patina and the piece dates from c.1860. The print and handle are carved as two separate pieces and there is a carved screw thread to join them. It is in excellent condition.
