A Wedgwood basalt bowl with relief decoration to the rim. This bowl is marked ‘WEDGWOOD’ and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, which dates it to c.1920. There is also an impressed number ‘8’ which relates to the size, and a couple of other small, indistinct marks. The bowl is quite simple in form with an attractive relief moulded band of grapes and vines to the rim. It is a useful size and it is in excellent condition.
