An 18th century, bronze pestle and mortar. This piece is very simple in form. It is English and it dates from the second half of the 18th century. The bronze has developed a good colour and patina over the years and it is in excellent condition. The mortar is 14.2cm. high by 15cm. diameter at the rim and the pestle is 24cm. long.
