A good quality, English copper, deep saute pan and cover. Both the pan and the lid are marked 'JONES BROS DOWN ST. W' and the piece dates from c.1880. It has the typical, English shape of steel handles and it is made from a very heavy gauge of copper. It is in excellent condition, and the interior has been re-tinned, so that it can be used. The pan measures 24.5cm. diameter by 9cm. deep. The other sizes quoted are the overall dimensions.
