A Victorian, beechwood breadboard dating from c.1880. The border of this board is carved with the words 'Want Not' and it is also carved with wheat and long, stylised leaves. The carving is now quite worn, with use, and the board is warped, with age. This adds character to the piece. The wood has a lovely, rich patina and the board is in very good condition.
