A small, 19th century, French butter print carved with  bunch of grapes. This print is carved in boxwood and, as this is such a hard wood, it shows very little sign of wear. It dates from c.1860 and the carving is quite primitive in style. It is in excellent condition and the wood has a very rich patina.
