A Wedgwood green jasper dip teapot. This piece is marked ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’. It is also impressed with a number ‘2’ and a ‘)’ which is a workman’s mark. It dates from c.1900. This shape was known as the doughnut shape and this is a fairly small example. It is decorated, in relief, with classical figures, trees and floral borders. There are imperfections in the potting and glaze, which occur in the teapot and not in the lid, and which result in making the surface of the teapot slightly lumpy. Other than this it is in good condition.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
