A small sugar mould in the shape of three cats. This is unusual in that one side is made from pewter and the other is made from steel. We do not know the reason for this. The steel has been polished so that, on the outside, the colour is very similar to the pewter although there are obvious differences. The cat is well detailed and the piece is in good condition. It dates from c.1890.
