Green jasper campana vases

An attractive pair of Wedgwood, pale green jasper dip, campana vases and covers. Both vases are marked ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’ and they date from c.1900. They also have a couple of impressed tool marks and one is impressed with a number ‘5’ which relates to the height of the vases without the covers. The vases are made in two sections and the socles are bolted onto the main body of the vases. Each vase is decorated with a band of classical figures and trees, and there are foliate borders to the rim and the foot. On the lower section of the vases are bands of acanthus leaves which match those on the lids. The reliefs are all good quality and both of the vases and covers are in excellent condition.
