Dimensions:
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, tapered jug. This jug is marked ‘WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND’ and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with the number ’30’. It is decorated, in relief, with a continuous band of classical maidens offering sacrifices. To the rim is a border of grapes and vines. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. It is in very good condition but there is a roughness to the pot, on the base.
