A small, Sunderland, pink lustre jug decorated with transfer prints of  "The Cast Iron Bridge" and a verse "The loss of gold is great". This is a good quality jug. The prints are coloured with bright enamels and surrounded by bands of pink, splash lustre. It dates from c.1830 and it is in excellent condition. The prints and the lustre are all still very bright.
