A Shelley 'Russell' pattern jelly mould. The shape of this mould is very simple, with fluted sides and a star shape in the top. This is one of the designs which Shelley named after a London Hotel and it was made in four different sizes. This is impressed with a number '2' and this relates to the size. It also has a printed mark 'Shelley', within a shield, with 'ENGLAND' beneath and it dates from c.1920. There is a small stain in the base of the mould but otherwise is in good condition.
