A Victorian breadboard carved with the word ’Bread’ and a simple line border to resemble leaves. This is carved in beechwood and the wood has a deep, honey coloured patina. It dates from c.1890. It is in very good condition, with just the usual scratches to the face of the board, consistent with use.
