A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, pedestal bowl. This is marked, to the base, ‘WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND’ and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number ‘7’ which relates to the diameter of the rim in inches. It is a nice shape and it is a good, usable size. It is decorated, in relief, with a band of classical figures and trees and there is a border of oak leaves and acorns to the rim. The reliefs are all good quality and the dip colour is a lovely rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
