A Victorian copper saucepan and cover dating from c.1860. The steel handles on this pan are a slightly different shape to the usual English form and often these turn up with Irish manufacturers marks, although this one is unmarked. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper, has castellated seams, and is in excellent condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. The pan measures 20.5cm. diameter by 13.8cm. deep and overall, including the steel handle, it is 44.7cm. long.
