A tall, Victorian copper mould dating from c.1870. This is a really interesting design and it is very decorative. It is stamped with a number ‘1’ above a letter ’S’, which is probably a pattern number, but it doesn’t have any manufacturers marks. The eight pointed tops are all slightly flattened but other than that it is in good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn but the mould could still be used.
