Deep copper preserve pan

A very good quality, French copper, preserve pan. This is much deeper than a standard shaped preserve pan. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It has ornate brass handles to either side which are the typical French shape. The pan measures 37cm. diameter by 15.5cm. deep. Overall, including the handles, it is 43.5cm. wide by 19cm. high. It weighs approximately 4.5 kilos, so both the quality and thickness of the copper, and the size of the pan make it a very good pan for use. There is slight marking to the copper, on the interior of the pan, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.
