A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a chick. This is a really cute design, with fabulous detail to the feathers. It is marked ‘CC BREVETE SGDG’ in the casting to both sides. It is also engraved with the initials ‘HJ’ , in an ornate script, to the hinge. It dates from c.1880 and is in excellent condition. The interior is still in very good, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
