A small earthenware mould with a geometric pattern to the base. This has an impressed ‘MINTON’ mark. It is also impressed with ‘No 35’ above a number ‘2’. The No 35 relates to the pattern number from the Minton pattern books of 1848 and the number 2 relates to the size of the mould. It dates from c.1850. It is in very good condition but, overall, there is some crazing to the glaze from use. This would not affect the usability of the piece.
