A miniature, Victorian copper mould designed to resemble a cardoon. This is a charming little mould and it dates from c.1890. Originally it would have been tinned all over but the tinning has been removed from the exterior to reveal the copper. There are now just very slight traces of the tin left on the outside of the mould. It is in very good condition but the tinning to the interior is worn, so it couldn’t be used. It is a good, decorative shape.
