Super quality, copper salmon kettle

A super quality, small, French copper salmon kettle with drainer. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c. 1880. It has castellated seams around the base and up both ends and it has ornate brass handles at both ends and also on the lid. Both the pan and the lid are stamped with a number '1'. It is in excellent condition, there is just one very tiny dent in one end of the pan. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
The pan measures 53.5cm long by 16.5cm wide by 12.4cm deep and overall, including the handles, it is 56cm. long by 17.5cm. high.
