A small, oval, French copper gratin dish. This is made from quite a light gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It has substantial, folding brass ring handles to either end and these are attached to the dish by simple, rustic, copper fittings. There are minor scratch marks to the base, from use, and the interior has recently been re-tinned.
