Very small, hanging stockpot

A very small, French copper, hanging stockpot. This would have been used over and open fire and would hang from a tripod. Both the pot and lid are stamped with the initials of a previous owner, ’A.L’ .

Unusual in this very small size.

French: c.1840

Dimensions: Diameter 14cm. Height 15.5cm.

Condition: Very good. Tinning worn so not suitable for use.
