A small sized, Victorian copper sauté pan, with steel handle, made by Benhams. This bears the orb and cross symbol, which was the trade mark of Benhams, to the base. The side of the pan is stamped with the initials ‘J.G’ and these would be the initials of a previous owner.
English c.1880.
Condition: There is rippling to the copper on the base of the pan and it is also slightly concave, so it is now purely for decoration.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 21cm. Depth of pan 3.7cm. Overall length of pan and handle 35cm.
