Large, French copper cake mould, pattern no 202

A large, 19th century, copper cake mould. This is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper. It is stamped with a pattern number ’202’  above a cockerel. The cockerel is the mark of the French company Letang. The design consists of two tiers of fluting above a plain base.

Condition: Very good. Tinning slightly flakey so not usable without re-tinning.
