'Four rabbits' pottery mould

An early 20th century, pottery mould with four rabbits to the top. This is a great design because, like many of the Shelley moulds from the same period, it displays very well. It dates from the 1920’s and, during this period, moulds were made for decoration as well as for use. It is impressed “1pt” which relates to the one pint capacity. 

Dimensions: Diameter 14.4cm. Height 8cm. 

Condition: Very good. There is just slight wear to the high points of the design to the inside of the mould.
