Letang pewter flower mould

A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a flower. This is marked with a the initials “L.G.” and a pattern number “733”. L.G. is the mark of the French company Letang. It would turn out the full form of a chrysanthemum or peony type flower and the moulding is exceptionally well detailed. 

Date c.1890.

Dimensions: Length 8.5cm. Width 6.5cm. Depth 4.2cm.

Condition: Very good. The exterior has a bright, polished patina and the interior is in good, bright, usable condition.
