An attractive, late Victorian, carved sycamore breadboard. This board has a simple, chip carved border and the word “BREAD”. Within the border, is a deep ridge for collecting the crumbs. The wood has a lovely, pale patina and the board dates from c.1890.
It is in very good condition.
