A fine quality, 18th century creamware curd cheese mould. This has a fish to the base and the tiered sides are elaborately pierced with geometric designs. It is finely potted, has a rich yellowy green glaze, and dates from c.1780.
There is a short hairline crack approximately 2 cm. long, to the rim but other than that it is in excellent condition.
