Small, gas iron

An unusual, early 20th century, cast iron gas iron. This is marked, in the casting, “A.H & Co LTD LONDON” and it dates from c.1910. There is a layer of heat proof fabric between the top and bottom sections and the gas would have been put into the iron through the hole on the side. This was ignited to heat the iron. It is in very good condition.
