Potato shaped ice cream mould

A  pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a potato. This is marked, in the casting, with a pattern number ‘ 154’. It is American and it dates from c.1890. The potato is life-sized and it is well detailed. The mould is in good condition. The interior is a little dull, but it could still be used, and the exterior has a slightly polished finish.
