Bright, copper lustre goblet

A copper lustre goblet with pink lustre and coloured enamel decoration. This is a nicely shaped goblet with a white band to the rim which is decorated with bold flowers in red and yellow enamels and pink lustre foliage. Both this decoration, and the copper lustre glaze, is still in remarkably good, bright condition. It was probably made in Staffordshire and dates from c.1840. It is in excellent condition.
