Soho Pottery Chicken Mould

An unusual pottery jelly mould in the shape of a chicken. This is marked “Solian Ware SOHO POTTERY LTD COBRIDGE ENGLAND”. This pottery operated from 1918 to 1944 and the mould dates from the 1930’s. The design is typical of that period as the chicken is stylised and very Art Deco in form. There is a chip on the rim but this would not affect the usability of the mould. It can be seen in the images.
