Pewter, flower, ice cream mould

A  pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a flower. This is a beautiful mould and it is very well detailed.  It is marked  with a pattern number ’449’. It is probably American, as most of this intermediate size of mould were, and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent, usable condition. The interior is still very bright and the exterior has quite a pale patina.
