Star shaped pottery mould

A 19th century, multi-pointed, star shaped mould. This is quite lightly potted and dates from c.1890. It is a great shaped mould and the design is very crisp on the outside but it is less well defined on the interior. This makes it a good piece for display and it would also turn out reasonably well. There are a couple of small chips to the top but these are not damage, they are from where the kiln stilts have been removed after the firing of the mould in the manufacture.
