Pewter 1 1/2 pint banquet mould

A three part, pewter, ice cream banquet mould. This is marked to the inside of the base, with a kite shaped, design registration mark which dates the registration of the design to 1868. It is also marked with “NO 10” and “PINT & 1/2” which is the capacity. The top section is moulded with a group of fruits and the design is particularly well detailed. This sits above fluted sides. This is a very good example of this design of mould and it dates from c.1870. It is in excellent condition and the interior is still in very bright, clean, usable condition.
