An early 20th century mould with a copper top and tin sides. This charming mould has a very well modelled lion to the top. The tin sides have seams at either end and the copper top has similar seams attaching it to the sides. This form of construction was used at the start of the 20th century and the mould dates from c.1910. It is a very good example of its’ period and it is in excellent condition. The tin, to the interior, is worn so it could not be used.
