A three gallon, copper harvest jug. Made from a heavy gauge of copper, and with castellated seams, this dates from c.1850. It has a good, Victorian assay mark stamped to the inside of the rim and on the front it is stamped with the measure “3 GALLON”.
Condition: There is very minor denting, consistent with age and use.
