A late Victorian breadknife with a carved, sycamore handle. The steel blade is stamped “TAYLOR WITNESS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. The handle is very well carved with corn and foliage and the carving still has very good depth and detail. The knife is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 31.5cm. Width 3cm. Diameter of handle 2.8cm.
