Small, 2 part butter mould

A small, two part, wooden butter mould. This is carved, in sycamore, with a swan. The carving is quite crude but it would still turn out a perfectly recognisable three dimensional form. The mould is in very good condition, with just a tiny stain on the swan’s wing.
